AIR DISTRICT MONITORING SITES

Our network measures concentrations of pollutants at ground level based on monitoring methods set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This data tracks trends in air pollution levels and informs regional and local air quality plans, forecasts, and emissions modeling. Pollutants measured by the monitoring network include ozone, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, particulate matter, lead, black carbon, hydrogen sulfide, and other air toxics.
